Fraser Island is a place of remarkable natural beauty
situated off the coast of Queensland, Australia. It
is the world's largest sand island and lies 200km
north of Brisbane. Access to Fraser Island is by vehicular
barge or light aircraft which lands on the eastern
beach. 4x4 vehicles are the only practical means of
transport on the forest sand tracks and beaches. 4x4s
can be hired locally or on the mainland.
